In this study, white sugar was dehydrated and then activated, producing extremely porous carbon as a result. The activated sugar-based (ASC) prepared by first dehydrating to produce (DSC) which chemically in nitrogen atmosphere using NaOH activating agent. With the aid of central composite design (CCD), component response surface methodology (RSM), ideal circumstances for removal Acid Chrome Blue K (ACBK) dye onto ASC adsorbent from aqueous solution were investigated. Adsorbent dosage 0.60 g, initial concentration 79 mg/L shaking speed 258 rpm adsorption conditions attained. obtained experimental predicted values 94.89% 94.22%, respectively, demonstrating good agreement between model with only modest error 0.71. linearized Langmuir equations five different versions, well Freundlich Temkin isotherms, used simulate data. Chi square (χ2) correlation coefficient (R2) taken into consideration while assessing validity each isotherm support selection best model. equilibrium data represented order Langmuir-2 > isotherms. outcomes showed that describing kinetics pseudo-second-order.

The replacement of cement with biochar (BC) has been proven to be an effective approach for reducing carbon emissions and promoting the resource utilization solid waste. However, limitations on amount remain a significant challenge. This study aims enhance maximum substitution level BC through hydration regulation effects nano-titanium dioxide (NT) nano-silica (NS) particles.The response surface methodology (RSM) was employed optimize dosages BC, NT, NS, as well predict strength outcomes. model predictions were validated experiments, underlying mechanisms investigated. results showed that, at 8.1% 0.6% 1.8% high can achieved while ensuring mechanical performance cementitious material. Verification tests indicated that error between experimental predicted less than 5%. Microscopic analysis revealed combined effect NT NS promoted process BC-cement composite, refined size products, effectively filled pores in both matrices. also strengthened interfacial bonding surrounding products. At 28d, total porosity BC8.1NT0.6NS1.8 sample decreased by 27.9% 9.4% compared BC8.1 control groups, respectively, thereby enhancing overall densification composite
