The
terrestrial
green
alga
Chromochloris
zofingiensis
is
an
emerging
model
species
with
potential
applications
including
production
of
triacylglycerol
or
astaxanthin.
How

characterize
its
substrate
utilization
and
secretion
dynamics,
we
cultivated
in
a
soil-based
defined
medium
transition
between
conditions
without
glucose
supplementation.

causing
damage
cell
membranes,
impairing
division,
disrupting
water
absorption.
Consequently,
researchers
have
focused
on
mitigating
impacts
abiotic
investigating
bioactive
molecules

organisms,

tolerance
mechanisms

emerged
