Various industries generate a large amount of wastewater, which contains soluble organic compounds that can seriously jeopardize the environment and human health. Therefore, new photocatalytic materials with function efficiently degrading pollutants have become research hotspot. In this research, bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) core-satellite structure were prepared through simple one-pot method in presence polyvinylpyrrolidone structure-directing agent crystal size. Also, synergy adsorption-catalytic properties MOFs was achieved via interaction aluminum iron groups. Meanwhile, type I heterojunction based on MIL-53(Al@Fe)-OH realized effective separation photogenerated carriers. Under synergistic degradation, degradation efficiency methylene blue (MB) nearly 100% after adsorption (of 2 h) photocatalysis h), removal rate MB still reached 90.43% five cycles. This study provides strategy for construction MOF structures efficient adsorption-catalyzed environmental pollutants.

In this study, artificial neural network (ANN) tools were employed to forecast the adsorption capacity of Malachite green (MG) by baru fruit endocarp waste (B@FE) under diverse conditions, including pH, adsorbent dosage, initial dye concentration, contact time, and temperature. This study demonstrated the synthesis of Fe2MnO4 modified by citric acid, a biodegradable using simple co-precipitation method. Characterization was performed qualitative analysis techniques such as Fourier-transformed infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction, selected-area N2 adsorption–desorption, and zero-point charge. The prepared nanoparticles had rough porous surface, contained oxygenous (-OH, -COOH, etc.) functional groups. specific surface area average pore size distribution were 83 m2/g 5.17 nm, respectively. Net zero charge on observed at pH 7.5. used an adsorbent to remove methylene blue dye from water under various conditions. Using small amounts (2.0 g/L), even high concentration MB (60 mg/L) could be reduced about ~58%. Abundant wood waste is generated globally, but the literature lacks a framework distinguishing sustainable versus unsustainable reuse practices. This gap hinders policy makers and stakeholders from effectively supporting responsible resource utilization. As such, this scoping review aimed to address by evaluating practices through ecological, financial, social sustainability lenses. A comprehensive database search yielded 1,150 records, narrowed 106 included studies eligibility screening. Data on study details factors was extracted without formal quality appraisal.
