Tomato is most popular fruit in the market due to easy availability and endless health benefits.Food processing industries use tomato for production of jam, puree, sauce, chutney other products which peels seed waste generated. From recent reviews it observed that many nutritious beneficial properties were found food waste. This review focusing on identify bioactive compounds present industrial their application. finding helps identification extraction valuable bio active compound such as carotenoids phenolic by green methods ohmic heating, super critical co2 extraction. This study investigates the efficacy of adsorbents from locally sourced olive waste—encompassing skins, leaves, and pits, recovered initial centrifugation olives (OWP)—and a composite with sodium alginate (OWPSA) for removal Cu2+ ions synthetic wastewater. Experimental analyses conducted at room temperature, an concentration 50 mg/L solid/liquid ratio 1 g/L, showed that efficiencies were approximately 79.54% 94.54% OWP OWPSA, respectively, highlighting positive impact on adsorption capacity. Utilizing statistical physics isotherm models, particularly single-layer model coupled to real gas (SLMRG), allowed us robustly fit experimental data, providing insights into mechanisms. Thermodynamic parameters affirmed spontaneity endothermic nature processes. Adsorption kinetics interpreted effectively using pseudo-second-order (PSO) model. Molecular modeling investigations, including conductor-like screening solvents (COSMO-RS), density functional theory (DFT), atom-in-molecule (AIM) analysis, unveiled intricate molecular interactions among adsorbent components—cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, alginate—and pollutant Cu2+, confirming their physically interactive nature. These findings emphasize synergistic application theoretical approaches, comprehensive understanding copper dynamics level. methodology holds promise unraveling processes across various materials in wastewater treatment applications.

In recent years, the consumption of avocado, both fresh and processed, has experienced a significant worldwide increase due to its recognized nutritional value beneficial health effects. However, this industrial processing generates substantial amount underutilized byproducts, primarily peel seed, leading environmental economic challenges. Fortunately, these residues are rich in bioactive phytochemicals, making their recovery an excellent opportunity enhance sustainability profitability modern avocado industry. This bibliometric analysis utilizes data from Scopus platform explore comprehensive utilization waste. By employing biorefinery approach computational tools, study aims identify extract value-added compounds with potential applications food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic industries. The results highlight that most relevant research topics currently focused on sustainable biotransformation byproducts. Additionally, there is growing emphasis methods for extracting valuable products, characterizing properties, identifying potentially exploitable active compounds. Furthermore, increasingly exploring factors associated new advancements, such as emerging regulations, certifications, substitutes, technological applications.
