Abstract Biogas production through co-digestion of two or more waste products has garnered increasing attention from researchers seeking to optimize this process. and methane increase with the addition glycerol agro-industrial wastes during anaerobic biodigestion. However, utilization a two-phase process focused on hydrogen not been widely explored. This work aims evaluate biodigestion cassava wastewater by adding residual swine enhance production. A pilot-scale biodigester was used acidogenic phase at 38.5°C, containing 4% glycerol. The effluent submitted methanogenic treatment, influence temperature (36.0 39.0°C) sodium bicarbonate concentration (2.0 6.0 g L-1) were evaluated. results indicated that optimum conditions 39.0°C 5.0 L-1. produced 30.8 mL (H2) RCOD-1 104.5 (CH4) RCOD-1.
