Global pandemic has emphasized the needs for advanced pathogen diagnosis in dealing with newly emerged infectious threats, including Langya henipavirus (LayV). LayV, as an emerging zoonotic pathogen, potential to cause pandemic, but lacks of rapid diagnostic tools, particularly at point-of-care level. Here, we leveraged merits CRISPR-Cas12a biosensing and established a highly sensitive LayV detection method. By integrating RPA, 10 copies/μL ultra-sensitive RNA been achieved room temperature within 30 min. More importantly, this study developed special horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) reporter enabling detect without pre-amplification, achieving sensitivity 1,200 detectable by naked eye. These explorations can serve accelerator CRISPR-Cas toward response biological also provide method realize simple, precise, amplicon-free screening resource limited or underdevelopment regions.

Abstract Langya henipavirus (LayV) and Mojiang (MojV) are emerging zoonotic pathogens that were first identified in China 2018 2012 respectively, classified within the Henipavirus genus. This article presents an in-depth review of LayV MojV, focusing on their structural properties, viral entrance, consequences for human health. The pathogenic potential these viruses is investigated depth as well current diagnostic methods identifying MojV. Furthermore, treatment controlling MojV infections assessed, with a particular emphasis critical need tailored antiviral research. serves resource researchers healthcare professionals, offering up-to-date synthesis knowledge while underscoring significance public
