Discovering
the
Representative
places
(RPs)
of
a
city
will
benefit
understanding
local
culture
and
help
to
improve
life
experiences.
Previous
studies
have
been
limited
in
regard
large-scale
spatial
identification
RPs
due
vagueness
boundaries
lack
appropriate
data
sources
efficient
tools.
Furthermore,
human
perception
these
remains
unclear.
To
address
this
gap,
research
adopts
novel
approach
identify
evaluate
from
perspective
perception.
Our
methodology
involves
utilization
deep
learning
systems,
text
semantic
analysis,
other
techniques
integrate
multi-source
data,
including
points
interest
(POIs),
street
view
images,
social
media
data.
Taking
Nanjing,
China,
as
case,
we
identified
192
their
perceptual
ranges
(PRRPs).
The
results
show
following:

non-RPs,
higher
average
scores
across
four
dimensions
(positive
indicators):
Beautiful
(7.11%
higher),
Lively

Wealthy

higher).
Conversely,

lower

lower).

The
acoustic
landscape
directly

people’s
perceptual

effects

multisensory
interactions
