A key feature for urban digital twins (DTs) is an automatically generated detailed 3D representation of the built and unbuilt environment from aerial imagery, footprints, LiDAR, or a fusion these. Such models have applications in architecture, civil engineering, planning, construction, real estate, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), many other areas. While visualization large-scale data conjunction with often recurring resource-intensive task, automated workflow complex, requiring steps to achieve high-quality visualization. Methods building reconstruction approaches come long way, previously manual semi-automatic automatic approaches. This paper aims complement existing methods generation. First, we present literature review covering different options procedural context generation methods, focusing on workflows pipelines. Next, semi-automated that extends pipeline include using Python Unreal Engine. Finally, propose integrating various types analysis We conclude series challenges faced achieving such pipelines limitations current approach. However, complete, end-to-end solution involve further developing robust systems detection, rooftop recognition, geometry importing visualizing same environment, highlighting need research development this field.

Evaluating the sustainability of smart cities is crucial for promoting sustainable development. Traditionally, this evaluation process has traditionally been carried out using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis approach. However, approach relies upon a unified input dataset, which can lead to oversimplification, particularly in context sustainability. Further, does not take account how evolves over time. This paper introduces time-based assessment technique that combines with an established method assessing performance variability, recognized as Preference Ranking Organization Method Enrichment Evaluations. The resulting framework, called Enhanced Evaluations, was used evaluate and communities across G20 countries, based on aggregated data, individual dimensions, scenarios. results demonstrate effectiveness, relevance, applicability new approach, provides significant advance field city by facilitating multi-period evaluations enabling multi-perspective assessments.

Architects and engineers who seek design decision aid for sustainable building city frequently experience decisional conflict require support across the process. Building performance simulations have become central to supporting process, but little is known about fit usability of simulation tools factors influencing implementation simulation-based in practice. This paper presents a novel framework tool called USER-FIT. The defines based on ISO definitions, review evidence literature, our development framework. USER-FIT provides six measures modelers software developers test how useful, usable, satisfactory intended users inform decision-making. The energy performance of buildings has become a main concern globally in response to increased demand, the environmental impacts production, and reality poverty. To improve efficiency, proper building design should be secured at early phase. Digital tools are currently available for performing assessment analyses can efficiently handle complex technically demanding buildings. However, alternative designs checked individually, this makes process time-consuming prone errors. Machine learning techniques provide valuable assistance developing decision support tools. In paper, typical residential considered along with eleven factors that highly affect performance. A dataset 337 instances such parameters is developed. For each dataset, estimated based on BIM analysis. Next, statistical machine implemented artificial models They include regression modeling (SRM), trees (DTs), random forests (RFs), neural networks (ANNs). analysis reveals contribution factor highlights ANN as best model.
