This qualitative study explored perceptions regarding work from home (WFH). The COVID-19 pandemic led to a sharp increase in WFH. Despite its potential advantages compared outside (WOH), WFH may also be challenging and intensify both work-home home-work conflicts. sample included 150 Israeli employees who worked due COVID-19. We inquired about by asking participants provide metaphors for WFH, as well WOH. the challenges of reported participants. findings pointed complex with most viewing it negative. Among women, minority viewed positively, enabled them greater space negotiating conflicts, suggesting that traditional gender roles have been maintained. Thus, while examining changes shock pandemic, sheds light on endure under ordinary circumstances. demonstrates ongoing importance social communal support, state policies, promoting equality.
