Abstract The purpose of the work was to determine trends in land cover dynamics a case study small town for period from 1991 2021 using GIS technologies find measures prevent negative anthropogenic impacts. object is territory Kaharlyk, Kyiv region, Ukraine, and its landscaping system. Dynamic processes were monitored freely available Landsat time series. classified into five categories: forest, grassland, cropland, urban (buildings) wetland (water). Using Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis, connectivity elements forest determined. Despite relatively high rates provision population with green infrastructure large forested area, forests have an insular (fragmentary) nature low connectivity. This does not contribute creation cohesive network ecological framework town. It established that there no significant changes town, however, some emerged, which should be taken account future planning.

Here, we assess land use/land cover (LULC) transitions over the last 30 years in Jakarta, Indonesia. Land maps were prepared for 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020 using seven categories of Landsat satellite image: bare land, built-up, cropland, green area, mangrove, water body, pond. LULC changes assessed through intensity analyses at interval transition levels. initially rapid (1990–1995) then more gradual (1995–2000, 2000–2005, 2005–2010). Unlike previous intervals, annual uniformly distributed time 2010–2015 2015–2020. Driven by high population economic growth, built-up was identified as an active gainer all intervals except 2010–2015. Alongside areas, cropland main supplier other categories, including pond, areas. The largest area occurred pond areas during 2005–2010 High demand observed driven growth triggered necessity. Economic exhibited a positive correlation (R2 = 0.78, t 9.996). This study elucidates spatiotemporal patterns rapidly growing city.

Urban green spaces, vital public infrastructure, have received limited research on how their morphology affects visual perception preferences. Using data from ten parks, we generated space maps high-resolution satellite imagery and calculated indicators, such as quantity, fragmentation, connectivity, shape complexity. By combining the Mask2Former image segmentation deep learning model with a multi-objective regression structural equation modeling, analyzed relationship between preferences, controlling for geographic demographic factors. The results showed that spaces tighter aggregation, continuity, complexity led to more distinct perceptions. This was mediated by proportion of landscape elements. distribution, shape, connectivity urban had an independent impact individual perception, far exceeding influence quantity alone. spatial should be incorporated into health-oriented design, exploring global interest in human well-being, providing valuable insights planning health-driven design.
