A
bird's
nest-like
structure
of
Nb2O5
(Nb2O5/PVP)
was
produced
using
a
hydrothermal
method
that
involved
the
introduction
PVP.
This
unique
provides
micro-reactor
for
photocatalytic
reaction,
which
improves
reaction
efficiency.
The
test
results
demonstrated
surface
properties
were
altered
by
change
caused
an
enhancement
water
adsorption
capacity
and
∙OH
production
yield.
Another
aspect,
energy
band
Thus,
photogenerated
charge
recombination
rate
reduced,
mobility
improved,
reduction
electrons
enhanced,
∙O2-
yield
increased.
PVP
broadened
light
absorption
range
from
UV
to
visible
region,
increasing
utilization
degradation
experiments
Nb2O5/PVP
had
significantly
better
catalytic
activity
than
pristine
Nb2O5.

90.4%
