Since photocatalytic and electrocatalytic technologies are crucial for tackling the energy environmental challenges, significant efforts have been put into exploring advanced catalysts. Among them, perovskite type ABO3 oxides show great promising catalytic activities because of their flexible physical chemical properties. In this review, fundamentals recent progress in synthesis considered. We describe mechanisms oxygen evolution reactions (OER), reduction (ORR), hydrogen (HER), nitrogen (NRR), carbon dioxide (CO2RR), metal-air batteries details. Furthermore, water splitting, CO2 conversion, pollutant degradation, fixation reviewed as well. also stress applications solid oxide fuel cells (SOFs). Finally, optimization various fields an outlook on current future challenges depicted. The aim review is to present a broad overview advancements development oxides-based catalysts conversion remediation, well roadmap these hot research areas.
