Porous organic polymers are porous materials that interlinked with building blocks by strong covalent bonds. Here, we synthesize a series of hydrazone-based N,O-chelate half-sandwich iridium complexes through facile route. All air-stable show high catalytic activity in N-alkylation broad scope aniline derivatives and alcohols with liberating water as the sole byproduct. This reaction provides smooth route to diverse monoalkylated amines good excellent yields at moderate temperature low catalyst loading. Moreover, challenging process using nitroarene substrates coupling partners is also carried out this system. The mechanistic study shows that present catalysis proceeds hydrogen borrowing mechanism. iridium(III) 1-4 are characterized by infrared (IR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) elemental analysis.

A viable and long-term method for producing clean water at hydrogel interfaces is solar-driven evaporation. This research utilizes the microgel polymerization technique to fabricate DCS-PNIPAm gels that exhibit exceptional swelling capacity mechanical qualities. Electrostatic forces hydrogen bonds between molecules occur sulfonic acid anions ammonium cations inside P(NIPAm-co-DMAPS) chains. Alginate characterized by a high content of carboxyl hydroxyl groups, which facilitate establishment bonding electrostatic interactions within system. Semi-interpenetrating networks are formed in as result physical chemical cross-linking brought on these interactions. Consequently, hydrogel's characteristics were significantly enhanced, water-collecting rate reached up 9.32 kg m–2 h–1 under one sun irradiation. Notably, sodium alginate (SA) carbon nanotubes (CNTs) layer gel has excellent filtration properties, can make it possible use sunlight purify from various contaminated sources containing dyes, oils, metals.

ABSTRACT Four kinds of cyclometalated half‐sandwich ruthenium(II) complexes 1 – 4 with air stability were synthesized, which supported by C,N‐donor Schiff base ligands as raw materials C‐H activation. These newly synthesized characterized and studied infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), other analytical or spectroscopic techniques, their exact structures confirmed single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. Cyclometalated exhibited good catalytic activity in catalyzing the oxidative homo‐coupling primary amines, dehydrogenation secondary cross‐coupling reaction amines alcohols to synthesize imines, all conducted an open flask oxidant. There was little effect different substituents on ruthenium efficiency. Ruthenium catalysts had characteristics mild conditions, strong universality substrate, stability, high efficiency, potential application industrial production.
