Deep-blue electroluminescent light-emitting diodes (ELEDs) are crucial for various applications, including solid-state lighting, high-density information storage, and vibrant displays. Currently, the development of conventional deep-blue ELEDs is predominantly based on multilayer evaporation structures. Despite significant technological progress, fabrication devices via low-cost solution processing has still not fully been realized. Given that, a novel approach their emission carbon dots (CDs) proposed in this study. The as-prepared CDs exhibited quantum yield close to 100% high exciton binding energy. CDs-based provided at wavelength 450 nm, with CIE coordinates (0.15, 0.07), closely approaching standard color Rec. 2020 specification (0.131, 0.046). These results provide sufficient evidence that fabricated work one highest-performing developed so far, providing efficiency over 10%.

Carbon quantum dots (CQDs), a new class of carbon-based nanomaterials, have emerged as nano-scaled probes with photoluminescence that an eco-friendly and bio-compatible nature. Their cost-efficient synthesis high yields make them indispensable due to their application in opto-electronic devices, including biosensors, bioimaging, environmental monitoring, light sources. This review provides intrinsic properties CQDs such excitation-dependent emission, biocompatibility, quenching properties. Diverse strategies for easy are divided into bottom-up top-down approaches detailed herein. In particular, we highlight luminescence properties, mechanisms could even be utilized the precise rapid detection biomolecules. We also discuss methodologies mitigation fluorescence quenching, which is pivotal biosensors bioimaging.

Quercetin, a flavonoid known for its antioxidant properties, has recently garnered attention as potential neuroprotective agent treatment of the injured nervous system. The repair peripheral nerve injuries hinges on proliferation and migration Schwann cells, which play crucial role in supporting axonal growth myelination. In this study we synthesized Quercetin-derived carbon dots (QCDs) investigated their effects cultured cells NG108-15 cell line. QCDs was obtained by solvothermal synthesis characterized via UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared X-ray diffraction analysis. particles demonstrated significant dose-dependent free radical scavenging activity DPPH ABTS assays, supported vitro expression neurotrophic angiogenic factors, stimulated neurite outgrowth from cells.
