The ten principles of GSP are presented with the aim establishing a road map toward development overall greener analytical methodologies. In the recent years, polyoxometalate (POM) encapsulated metal–organic framework (MOF) composites have attracted much attention in photocatalysis. Both POMs and MOFs been attracting immense this area. Furthermore, order to promote charge transfer separation between MOFs, theoretical experimental analysis can be applied match their energy levels; however, individual applications are hindered by several defects, such as poor visible-light utilization efficiency. The combination of benefit from virtues both while avoiding drawbacks them. Notably, with high specific surface area long-range ordered structure ensure a uniform distribution POMs, which cannot only prevent self-aggregation but also allow exposure more active sites for catalysis. This review article evaluates and compares the efficiency of various sustainable adsorbents for removal noxious pollutants from water environments. study discusses types concerning their performance suitability. Adsorbent include natural-based, carbon-based, waste-based, biomass-based, biopolymers-based, nanocomposites-based adsorbents, as well metallic organic frameworks, aerogels, networking crystalline solids, zeolite nanoparticles, dendrimers were reviewed.
