Preparing stable n-type flexible single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)-based thermoelectric films with high (TE) performance is desirable for self-powering wearable electronics but remains a challenge. Here, the interface regulation and enhancement mechanism of ferrocene derivatives on polyethylenimine/single-walled (PEI/SWCNT) composite have been explored by doping (f-Fc-OH) into PEI/SWCNT films. The results show that introduction f-Fc-OH leads to formation "thorn" structures surfaces SWCNT bundles via hydrophilic hydrophobic interactions, generated energy-filtering effect improves properties film, f-Fc-OH-doped (f-Fc-OH/PEI/SWCNT) achieves highest room-temperature power factor 182.22 ± 8.60 μW m

While thiol-based adsorbates have achieved significant success in surface modification and molecular electronics, their thermal storage instability has hindered long-term commercial viability. Carbene-based thin films offer a promising alternative due to enhanced stability; however, electronic properties after postfunctionalization remain be investigated. In this study, by attaching ferrocene (Fc) unit bis(diarylcarbene)-modified gold via carbodiimide coupling, the system exhibits diode behavior with current rectification ratio of ∼100. This is highly temperature-dependent, indicating that hopping dominant mechanism for rectification. Notably, demonstrated excellent electrical stability under ambient conditions over 6 months. Our work highlights potential designing carbene-based junctions through postmodification developing durable functional devices.

Abstract Despite the great potential of lead‐halide perovskite photodetectors for broadband photodetection, ion migration in perovskites and parasitic charge injection from adjacent layers remain major challenges, ultimately leading to device failure. Here, novel use an ultra‐thin layer ferrocenyl‐bis‐phenyl‐2‐carboxylate (FcPhc 2 ) is demonstrated as a hole‐blocking layer. It shown that FcPhc creates energetic barrier between electron transport layer, significantly reducing hole Ag contact. This improvement results ultralow noise spectral density 1.2 × 10 −14 A Hz −1/2 , high specific detectivity 8.1 12 Jones at −0.5 V 740 nm. In addition, effectively inhibits I − oxidation induced by injected holes reduces formed on surface, enhancing reverse bias stability. The increase stability does not compromise response speed ‐based devices operate scale 150 ns 1.3 MHz photo‐ electrical‐responses.
