In order to determine how lanthanide ions (La, Nd, Eu, Gd, Ho, Tb, Lu) coordinate in ternary systems with alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic acid—GA; or tartaric acid—Tar) and spermine (Spm), potentiometric studies were conducted. addition, binary of metal studied, as well the possibility non-covalent interactions between studied ligands. The 4,5-diamine-2,6-dimercaptopyrimidine (DAD) molecule contains an aromatic N-heterocyclic center with two amino and thiol groups, providing attractive multifunctional ligand to be explored in coordination chemistry molecular recognition studies. It reacts [Ru(bipy)2Cl2] the presence of air, yielding a [Ru(bipy)2DAD]2+ complex, which converts into corresponding Ru(II)-diimine form, leaving pyrimidine N-atoms groups available for participating intermolecular association through selective hydrogen bonding. This expectation has been confirmed by resonance Raman spectroscopy solution solid state detailed analysis vibrational peaks Ru(II)-bipy Ru(II)-DAD chromophores under condition. Accordingly, it was observed that DAD profiles are sensitive interactions species, such as creatinine, thus expressing typical behavior.

Luminescent molecule-based bioimaging system is widely used for precise localization and distinction of cancer/tumor cells. lanthanide (Ln(III)) complexes offer long-lived (sub-millisecond time scale) sharp (FWHM <10 nm) emission, arising from the forbidden 4f-4f electronic transitions. Ln(III) complex-based has emerged as a promising option both in vitro vivo visualizations. In this mini-review, historical development recent significant progress luminescent probes bioapplications are introduced. The studies mainly focused on three points: (i) structural modifications macrocyclic small ligands, (ii) acquirement high resolution luminescence images cells (iii) constructions ratiometric biosensors. Furthermore, our study explained new Cancer GPS (cancer grade probing determining tumor through photophysical property analyses intracellular Eu(III) complex.

Abstract Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have a high specific surface area, adjustable pores and can be used to obtain functional porous materials with diverse well-ordered structures through coordination self-assembly, which has intrigued wide interest in broad range of disciplines. In the arena biomedical engineering, functionalized modification MOFs produced drug carriers excellent dispersion functionalities such as target delivery response release, promising applications bio-detection, disease therapy, tissue healing, other areas. This review summarizes present state research on functionalization by physical binding or chemical cross-linking small molecules, polymers, biomacromolecules, hydrogels evaluates role approach boosting reactivity materials. On this basis, application composites engineering fields delivery, repair, treatment, bio-detection imaging is surveyed, development trend prospects an important new class field are anticipated, may provide some inspiration reference for further MOF bio-medical applications.
