Pyridine oximes produced from aldehyde or ketone with hydroxylamine (NH2 OH) have been widely applied in pharmaceutics, enzymatic and sterilization. However, the important raw material NH2 OH exhibits corrosive unstable properties, leading to substantial energy consumption during storage transportation. Herein, this work presents a novel method for directly synthesizing highly valuable pyridine using situ generated electrocatalytic NO reduction well-design nanofiber membranes (Al-NFM) derived -MIL-53(Al). Particularly, 2-pyridinealdoxime, precursor of antidote pralidoxime (2-PAM) nerve agents suffering scarcity high cost, was achieved Faraday efficiency up 49.8 % yield 92.1 %, attributing selectivity production on Al-NFM, further easily reacted iodomethane produce 2-PAM. This study proposes creative approach, having wide universality other range functional groups, which not only facilitates conversion exhaust gas (NO) waste water (NO2- ) into chemicals especially utilization through electrochemistry, but also holds significant potential synthesis neuro detoxifying drugs humanity security.

Abstract The field of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) has progressed beyond the design and exploration powdery single‐crystalline materials. A current challenge is fabrication organized superstructures that can harness directional properties individual constituent MOF crystals. To date, progress in methods polycrystalline led to close‐packed structures with defined crystalline orientation. By controlling orientation, pore channels crystals be aligned along specific directions: these systems possess anisotropic including enhanced diffusion directions, preferential orientation guest species, protection functional guests. In this perspective, we discuss status research oriented focusing on directions Three are examined detail: assembly from colloidal solutions, use external fields for alignment particles, heteroepitaxial ceramic‐to‐MOF growth. Abstract 2D layered metallic graphite composites are promising electromagnetic wave absorption materials (EWAMs) for their combined properties of abundant interlayer free spaces, rich polarized sites, and high conductivity, but the controllable synthesis remains rather challenging. Herein, a dual‐step redox engineering strategy is developed by employing cobalt boron imidazolate framework (Co‐BIF) to construct CoNi‐alloy embedded B, N‐doped carbon layers (2D‐CNC) as EWAM. In first step, chemical etching oxidation process on Co‐BIF used obtain an optimized 2D‐CoNi‐layered double hydroxide (2D‐CoNi‐LDH) intermediate in second, high‐temperature calcination reduction implemented modify graphitization degree 2D‐CNC. The obtained sample delivers superior reflection loss (RL min ) −60.1 dB wide effective bandwidth (EAB) 6.24 GHz. synergy mechanisms interfacial/dipole polarization magnetic coupling in‐depth evidenced hologram Lorentz electron microscopy, revealing its significant contribution multireflection impedance matching. Up to now, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with open nanostructures have shown outstanding capabilities in trapping smoke particles compared the original MOFs. However, only a few MOF-based strategies been reported synthesize hierarchical porous cages thus far, which are mainly restricted environmentally unfriendly wet-chemical liquid methods. Herein, as proof-of-concept, gas-steamed framework approach was designed fabricate series of cheeselike porosity. Briefly, zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) and phytic acid were employed precursor etchant, respectively. Abandoning conventional method, coordination bond ZIF-67 cleaved by acidic steam, forming an high specific surface area structure. The universality this method also confirmed selection different etchants. Impressively, they show fume-toxic adsorption capability labyrinth effects based on abundant complex channels. At 5 wt % loading, Co3O4@open cage-2 (Co3O4@OZC-2) imparted polyurea (PUA) composites 21.2% limiting oxygen index, peak heat release rate, total release, production reduced around 37.5, 25.5, 40.4%, respectively, neat PUA. This work will shed light advanced structural design polymer fire safety, especially suppression performance, so obtain more feasible applications.
