Three "π"-shaped D-A-type thiodiazoloquinoxaline derivatives with different electronic structures and rotations have been prepared. Their particular allow these molecules to possess a broad absorption range sufficient intramolecular motions, dissipating energy through thermal deactivation pathway. The increasingly severe wastewater pollution from an industry that contains organic dyes and phenols urges the development of sustainable removal technology. This work reports a bifunctional nanoporous polymer-based photocatalyst CABP by integrating boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) chain polymer calixarene monomer into network. exhibits higher photodegradation competency toward bisphenol A methylene blue (MB) than linear FBP. Noteworthily, good recyclability robustness were found, highlighting promising utility in treatment. Mechanistic investigations suggested discrepancy between (BPA) MB can be attributed to preference for generating different reactive oxygen species nature molecular interaction with photocatalyst. contribution demonstrates practical approach design efficient photocatalysts purification regeneration.

The smart construction of nano-photosensitizers (PSs) is significant for multipurpose applications, such as bioimaging, efficient photodynamic anti-tumor or anti-bacterial studies. This work reports a flexible self-assembling strategy the nano-PSs, in which PSs spontaneously form amorphous aggregates killing bacteria, self-assemble with tetraphenylethene (TPE) based glycoclusters (TPE-Glc4) to construct glyco-dots cell imaging and Tricyanofuran (TCF) TPE units were bridged furan thiophene moiety two (1 2) NIR fluorescence monomers, performance aggregation-induced generation reactive oxygen species (AIG-ROS) an aggregated state. Compared large (2-a), TPE-based encapsulated PS (2-Glc) that exhibit smaller more homogeneous hydrated size approximately 40 nm, well enhanced water-solubility biocompatibility. TPE-glycoclusters facilitate cellular uptake 2 into HepG2 cells, therefore enhancing signal therapy.
