The smart construction of nano-photosensitizers (PSs) is significant for multipurpose applications, such as bioimaging, efficient photodynamic anti-tumor or anti-bacterial studies. This work reports a flexible self-assembling strategy the nano-PSs, in which PSs spontaneously form amorphous aggregates killing bacteria, self-assemble with tetraphenylethene (TPE) based glycoclusters (TPE-Glc4) to construct glyco-dots cell imaging and Tricyanofuran (TCF) TPE units were bridged furan thiophene moiety two (1 2) NIR fluorescence monomers, performance aggregation-induced generation reactive oxygen species (AIG-ROS) an aggregated state. A modular synthesis of a new family core-fluorinated BODIPYs was elaborated. β-Fluoro-β-nitrostyrenes were used as starting materials to prepare set mono-fluorinated pyrrole-2-amides using the Barton-Zard reaction with 2-isocyanoacetamides. The prepared monofluorinated building blocks successively transformed into corresponding dipyrromethanes and 1,7-difluoro-BODIPY-3,5-diamides. As result, luminophores combination fluorescence photosensitizing properties obtained. photophysical novel studied by UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry DFT calculations. In addition, their ability generate singlet oxygen assessed. 1,7-difluoro-BODIPY-3,5-diamides compared analogues reveal substituent effect at 3,5-positions. fluorescent obtained dyes significantly improved in comparison 3,5-diester analogous.
