In this review, the principles and characteristics of solid-phase extraction (SPE) are discussed. The categories nanomaterial-based adsorbents namely metal/metal oxides, magnetic nanoparticles, silica-based two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials (NMs), polymeric nanotubes, semiconductor NMs, nanoporous materials along with their features discussed followed by evaluating synthetic strategies. Finally, application sorbents for preconcentration drugs, pesticides, heavy metals in biological, food, environmental samples is assessed. Overall, future SPE techniques expected to include advances downsizing, automation, selectivity, sustainability, integration other analytical techniques, resulting more efficient effective sample preparation procedures a variety applications.

Miniaturized solid-based approaches have added an eco-friendly dimension to analytical procedures, establishing themselves as promising strategies for a wide range of applications. Among these, microextraction by packed sorbent (MEPS) stands out due its ability facilitate efficient sample interaction with densely sorb ent phase within the system. MEPS offers several advantages, including preconcentration capabilities and use minimal solvent volumes, making it appealing choice modern workflows. Since extraction efficiency is largely dictated phase, recent advancements in design garnered considerable attention field preparation. ABSTRACT A novel analytical methodology was developed in this study for the determination of four nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs, including aspirin, naproxen, ibuprofen, and mefenamic acid water samples using high‐performance liquid chromatography‐diode array detection. The thin film solid‐phase microextraction technique employed, coupled with a 96‐well plate sampling system, polyaniline‐silica doped hydrochloric used as extractor phase. optimized conditions were obtained through univariate multivariate approaches, optimum extraction 1.5 mL sample, pH 3, without salt addition, 300 μL acetonitrile. Calibration curves spiked ultrapure water; linear ranges from 15 to 500 μg L −1 , coefficients higher than 0.9957. Detection quantification limits 4.55 respectively. relative recoveries varied 81% 117% river sample at three different concentration levels each analyte. intraday ( n = 3) interday 9) precision values ≤ 8% 15%,
