ABSTRACT The development of anticancer drugs that target different organelles has received extensive attention due to the characteristics cancer recurrence, metastasis, and drug resistance. endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is an important structure within cell primarily responsible for protein synthesis, folding, modification, transport plays a crucial role in function health. ER stress activation induces apoptosis. New with mechanisms selectivity can be designed because redox activity, composition diversity, metal complexes regulation. Over past few decades, dozens have killed cells through stress, showing powerful tumor‐suppressive effects. This review summarizes progress research on metallic induce over years, which expected bring more breakthroughs field medicine life science.

Metals have long held a significant role in the human body and been utilized as mineral medicines for thousands of years. The modern advancement metals pharmacology, particularly metallodrugs, has become crucial disease treatment. As machanism metallodurgsare increasingly uncovered, some metallodrugs are already approved by FDA widely used treating antitumor, antidiabetes, antibacterial. Therefore, thorough understanding metallodrug development is essential advancing future study. This review offers an in-depth examination evolution applications within contemporary medicine. We specifically aim to summarize historical trajectory Traditional Chinese Mineral Medicine analyzing key texts representative medicines. Additionally, we discuss recent advancements metallodrugs’ mechanisms, such protein interactions, enzyme inhibition, DNA reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, cellular structure targeting. Furthermore, address challenges propose potential solutions. Lastly, outline directions enhance their efficacy effectiveness. progression broadened contributed significantly patient health, creating good healthcare solutions global population.

The development and characterization of anticancer complex drugs (ACD), specifically Amyloid Beta Peptide (ABP) - Ruthenium III (Ru III) nivolumab (NB), were explored through analytical techniques. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy demonstrated the structural transformation peptides from α-helical to β-sheet formations, aligning with amyloid fibril aggregation. (III) synthesis was confirmed distinct absorption peaks in FTIR analysis. High-resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM) revealed fibrous smooth morphology ACD, while thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) decomposition stages stability ruthenium complexes. encapsulation efficiency vitro release profile (NB) within ABP-RuIII-NB investigated, showing a two-phase over 40 h. Cytotoxicity studies using acridine orange ethidium bromide staining techniques indicated significant apoptosis human oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) -treated cells. These findings highlight potential as an effective cancer treatment controlled drug high cytotoxicity against
