As monitoring children's growth is of paramount importance, the present study attempts made to compare indicators from birth 12 months before during outbreak COVID-19 pandemic.Material methodThe descriptive-analytical was conducted using cluster sampling method 10 comprehensive healthcare centers on 200 southwest Iran 2023. The infants' records chart pandemic served as data collection instruments. collected were analyzed SPSS 21 software descriptive analytical statistics.ResultEconomic hardship, job loss, maternal disease neonatal acquired found be significantly higher compared pre-pandemic time. average weight BMI both groups showed no difference two old, but 4 1-year-old among born (P-value<0.05). Result this that trend age word articulation by increasing (P-value=0.022) at time 6 cases missed vaccination observed.ConclusionThe results indicate can affect development infants, may, some cases, disrupt routine schedule infancy breastfeeding, which should prevented proper parental training.
