Abstract Developing a reliable portable biosensor is crucial for ensuring food safety and human health. This involves accurately detecting contaminants in water at their source. Doxycycline (DOX) is extensively utilized as a broad-spectrum antibiotic in animals and aquaculture. However, excessive residues of DOX can endanger human health ecosystems, adversely affecting sustainable development. A novel ratiometric fluorescent probe was designed for specific monitoring based on boron- nitrogen-codoped carbon quantum dots encapsulated metal–organic frameworks coupled with molecularly imprinted polymers (B,N-CQDs/ZIF-8@MIP). In the existence DOX, blue fluorescence quenched owing to inner filter effect, while yellow-green enhanced due combination Zn2+. Benefiting from dual-signal strategy layer, exhibited wide linearity range (0.05–20 mg L–1), favorable detection limit (LOD) 14.21 ng mL–1, fast response time (5 min), exceptional selectivity. The validity verified by detecting lake water milk desirable recoveries (90.16–97.18%). Moreover, portable sensing device smartphone-integrated B,N-CQDs/ZIF-8@MIP achieve visual clear color change an LOD 44.98 mL–1. Therefore, sensor advantages portability, easy operation, sensitivity showed tremendous application prospects on-site food environmental safety.

In this study, two ultrashort dipeptides, diphenylalanine (FF) or C-terminal amidated (DPA), were covalently self-assembled with genipin to obtain well-defined supramolecular peptide nanoparticles for the detection of pyrethroids. DPA-genipin (PNPs) demonstrated excellent dual-emission fluorescence characteristics, tunable particle size, and robust photostability. Parallel this, PNPs showed a ratiometric response λ-cyhalothrin (LC) distinct green-to-red color transition. The satisfactory self-calibration capability system enabled respond sensitively LC in wide range (5-800 μg/L) lower limit 0.034 μg/L. introduction smartphone application made it easy develop an intelligent evaluation platform based on PNPs, which had been proven be applicable on-site visualization agricultural products. proposed here may new self-assembly sensing, both important food safety implications great economic value.
