Summary Imbibition is one of the main mechanisms for fluid transport in porous media. A combination carbonated water and active [active-carbonated (ACW)] has great prospects enhanced oil recovery (EOR) carbon reduction processes. To date, law hydrocarbon induced by ACW imbibition not clear. In this paper, optimal surfactant concentration was first selected through a spontaneous experiment, on basis, CO2 dissolved to form ACW. The effects formation (FW), solution DX-1, under different pressures were compared. changes rock wettability three solutions during studied measuring contact angle. effect fracture studied. Finally, improved NB−1 calculated elucidate mechanism forced EOR. results show that 0.1% DX-1 produces effect. Pressure positively correlated with recovery. can significantly improve due its reversal ability being better than those FW DX-1. be trapped diffusion into small pores. angles decrease increasing pressure. angle between droplet as low 38.13°. addition, increases area matrix fluid, thereby improving alteration indicates gravity-driven cocurrent imbibition. imbibitions are countercurrent driven capillary force gravity. above demonstrate feasibility low-permeability reservoir development reduction.

Microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) is a universal issue of significant concern in the petroleum industry, with potential for enormous economic losses and casualties. The rate, morphology, products, microbial community composition produced fluid samples from Zhanjiang oilfield were measured after anaerobic culture at 30 60 °C 14 days. rate Z1 Z2 decreased increasing temperature, while Z3 sample changed light to heavy corrosion. was dominated by pitting corrosion, had relatively smooth surface, observed have one dimensional wormhole °C. 16S ribosomal deoxyribonucleic acid (rDNA) sequence showed that bacterial communities Pseudomonas Bacillus, archaeal mainly composed Methanothermobacter, Methanosaeta, Candidatus Nitrosotenuis, which prevalent It suggested could be caused extracellular electron transfer reduction nitrate or nitrite N2 NH4+ bacteria, utilization CO2 produce CH4 archaea. Overall, results this can provide comprehensive data new insights into management strategies oil fields.
