Abstract Mycotoxin contamination of food crops is a global challenge due to their unpredictable occurrence and severe adverse health effects on humans. Therefore, it great importance develop effective tools prevent the accumulation mycotoxins through chain. The use magnetic nanoparticle (MNP)‐assisted biosensors for detecting mycotoxin in complex foodstuffs has garnered interest significantly enhanced sensitivity accuracy. Within such context, this review includes fundamentals recent advances (2020–2023) area monitoring matrices using MNP‐based aptasensors immunosensors. In review, we start by providing comprehensive introduction design immunosensors (natural antibody or nanobody, random site‐oriented immobilization) (techniques aptamer selection, characterization, truncation). Meanwhile, special attention paid multifunctionalities MNPs (recoverable adsorbent, versatile carrier, signal indicator) preparing mycotoxin‐specific biosensors.
