Conductive nanofiltration (CNF) membranes hold great promise for removing small organic pollutants from water through enhanced Donnan exclusion and electrocatalytic degradation. However, current CNF face limitations in conductivity, structural stability, nanochannel control strategies. This work addresses these challenges by introducing aniline-functionalized carbon nanotubes (NH2-CNTs) as an interlayer. NH2-CNTs enhance the dispersibility adhesion of pristine nanotubes, leading to a more conductive stable composite membrane. The redesigned interlayered (NICNF) membrane exhibits 10-fold increase conductivity high response degree (80%) with excellent cyclic surpassing existing membranes. synergistic effects exclusion, voltage switching, electrocatalysis enable NICNF achieve selective recovery mixed dyes, 98.97% removal residual wastewater toxicity, 5.2-fold permeance compared commercial NF270 research paves way next-generation multifunctional capable efficient degradation toxic wastewater.

To reduce the operating costs of conventional membrane bioreactors (MBRs) and improve stability quality dynamic bioreactor (DMBR) effluent, a homemade inexpensive filter cloth assembly was connected to an up-flow ultra-lightweight-medium (UUF) in lieu expensive modules form double-filter-medium tandem (DT)-MBR. DT-MBR used treat domestic wastewater, its removal efficiencies for chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus were similar those aerobic MBR, with average rates 91.1%, 98.4%, 15.1%, 50.7%, respectively. The suspended solid (SS) final effluent 5.6 mg∙L−1, played leading role SS removal, rate 86.0% relatively stable effect little impact via backwashing. activated sludge zeta potential, flocculation sedimentation properties, particle size distribution, microbial compositions, extracellular polymeric substances (EPS), filtration resistance cake layer analyzed; it found that layer, which can also be called (DM), had excellent performance. However, DM theory could not reasonably explain why maintained good even after real reason must related sieving pores. Therefore, concept situ autogenous static (ISASM) proposed. With low quality, is desirable alternative traditional MBR.
