Abstract Shape memory polymers (SMPs) are deformable materials capable of recovering from a programmed temporary shape to permanent under specific stimuli. However, recovery SMPs is often accompanied by the evolution stiff soft state, leading significant decrease in strength/modulus and thereby impacting their practical applications. Although some attempts made pursue with self‐stiffening capability after recovery, modulus increase ratio much limited. Inspired recrystallization process CaCO 3 during crab molting, novel universal strategy developed construct water‐free using single thermal stimulus through harnessing polymer melting‐recrystallization. The achieved melting primary crystals, followed via at same temperature, which rate can be wide range. Additionally, conceptual applications these as artificial stents self‐enhancing supporting function successfully demonstrated. This work believed provide new insights for developing advanced devices.
