With rapid economic and social development, both concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) composite structures basalt fiber (BF) have been widely applied in the field of civil engineering. To investigate laws characteristics influence chopped BF on mechanical properties CFST columns further promote application structures, axial compressive bearing capacity test 18 short was carried out, different lengths their structural analyzed. The results were compared with theoretical calculation finite element analysis to verify reasonableness results. reveal that column after adding is significantly improved ordinary column, which ductility coefficient are increased by approximately 8.1% 31.6%, respectively, average. In addition, changing length has less effect columns, rate increase decreases an ratio CFST, increases ratio.
