To overcome the sensitivity limitation of conventional luminescence intensity ratio optical thermometers, we designed an thermometer using double-perovskite SrLa1-xEuxLiTeO6 phosphors based on abnormal thermal quenching effect. A series red SrLa1−xEuxLiTeO6 were synthesized through a facile high-temperature solid-state reaction, and photoluminescence properties thermometric behaviors thoroughly explored. The X-ray diffraction pattern Rietveld refinement show that compounds formed in monoclinic phase. UV–visible spectra indicate bandgaps (x = 0 0.5) 3.56 3.42 eV, respectively. optimized dopant concentration for Eu3+ was x 0.5 with mechanism dipole–dipole interaction. Under different excitations, exhibited opposite luminescent variations increased temperatures. Based phenomenon, temperature-sensing performances SrLa0.5Eu0.5LiTeO6 extensively investigated dual-excitation single-band ratiometric strategy. maximum relative value determined as 1.21% K−1 at 373 K. Moreover, fluorescence images fingerprints developed by clearly visible, level I–III detail features highlighted. These results suggest are prospective candidates non-contact thermometry latent fingerprint detection.
