The nondestructive testing capability of steel surface defects has a significant impact on quality industrial production. However, the single-stage detection network YOLOv5s model for defect is insufficient feature extraction ability and susceptibility to noise interference in extracting images. Accordingly, system based YOLOv5s-SE-CA bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) image enhancement proposed. Firstly, BEMD used threshold denoising improve images achieve preprocessing dataset. Secondly, squeeze excitation (SENet) attention mechanism introduced into backbone adaptively adjust weights each channel. Meanwhile, coordinate (CA) integrated model's focus defects. Therefore, designed enhance Experimental verification was carried out using NEU-DET noisy dataset with specific evaluation indicators system. Results showed proposed superior performance when compared traditional models trained datasets achieved more accurate steel.

Abstract Bearing fault diagnosis under variable speed conditions is essential due to the complexities introduced by fluctuations. The accurate detection of multi-harmonic faults critical for ensuring reliability in intricate operating environments. From perspective beneficial effects noise, this study we propose a novel damping-regulated generalized stochastic resonance (GSR) array method designed conditions. First, employ computed order tracking transform non-stationary time-domain signals into stationary angular domain. A GSR oscillator then within domain, forming basis our array. By analyzing system response, reveal diagnostic performance theory assess array’s capacity enhancing characteristics. Through simulations and experimental validation, demonstrates superior accuracy, particularly scenarios. It excels preserving weak characteristics while offering significant advantages high robustness. These findings provide potential practical applications diagnostics across various engineering systems.
