The effects of different contents biochar and vermicompost on the microbial enzymatic activities greenhouse soil were determined to provide a theoretical basis for improving quality soil. experiment was conducted in using potted tomatoes. Five treatments consisted amount ratios organic amendments: 1% (BC1), 3% (BC3), 5% (BC5), (VC3), (VC5), with no addition amendments as control (CK). Biochar diversity bacterial fungal communities soil, well abundance Actinomycetes, Acidobacteria, Ascomycetes, Aspergillus, reduced Aspergillus. urease alkaline phosphatase increased, activity nitrate reductase inhibited all groups compared CK. In addition, highly significant positive correlation observed among Acidobacteria phylum abundance, treatments. positively correlated activity. effective physicochemical properties enhancing diversity, affecting activities. Therefore, (3% biochar) had most effect community VC5 (5% vermicompost) best promotion This study highlights that are recommended improve soils.

Accelerating the start-up of anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox) is primary condition for its large-scale application. Anammox with magnetic biochar took shortest time, reducing 15–24 days compared to control blank (CK) and 6–26 pyrolytic biochar.
