The
decrease
in
the
total
iron
grade
of
pellets
due
to
bentonite
has
prompted
search
for
a
non-polluting
and
alternative
binder.
while
organic
binders
are
considered
potential
substitutes
bentonite,
they
cannot
fully
replace
it
complete
decomposition
failure
during
pellet
hardening.
Thus,
production
utilizing
composite
binder
gained
significant
attention
academia
industry.
In
this
study,
novel
polymer-type
(PTB)
was
introduced
minimize
consumption
green
preparation.
By
regulating
ratio,
addition
just
0.01
%
PTB
can
reduce
usage
by
1.0
under
optimal
conditions,
all
maintaining
excellent
quality.
Further
investigations
revealed
that
molecules
adsorbed
on
surfaces
concentrate
(predominantly
magnetite)
through
hydrogen
bonding,
electrostatic
repulsion,
coordination,
monodentate
chelation
surface
complexation,
dissolved
into
fibrous
structure
bridge
particles
together.
Moreover,
abundant
hydrophilic
groups
(-OH,
–COOH)
substantially
enhanced
water-holding
capacity
pellets,
resulting
reduced
rate
drying
dehydration
an
elevated
shock
temperature.
