The word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing process is one of the main means by which consumers obtain information. As a communication channel between in economically developing countries, WOM may contribute to development organic food market. primary objective this study segment saffron Mashhad, Iran, and determine how they engage marketing. Data were collected through questionnaires from 13 districts Mashhad using stratified sampling method. In study, 400 grouped self-organizing map (SOM) neural network based on consumer neobehavioristic theory, then, decision trees, behavior rules extracted for participating each group. According results, less than fifty percent four market segments are willing participate advertising saffron. A lack awareness characteristics also found be reason consumers' reluctance recommend others. Mass-media an effective way raise influence opinion leaders, ultimately resulting recommendations.

Irrigation of crops with domestic wastewater (DW) is a common practice in developing countries like India. However, irrigation poses risk migration toxic heavy metals to edible parts crops, which requires serious measures prevent their uptake. In this study, the effect DW comparison Sarbal Lake water (SLW) and borewell (BW) on soil characteristics cultivated saffron (Crocus sativus L.) was investigated. For purpose, samples water, soil, (corm, petal, stigma) were collected from suburban area Pampore, Srinagar district, Jammu Kashmir, The results showed that had maximum significant (p < 0.05) influence physico-chemical nutrient followed by SLW BW irrigation, respectively. growth yield parameters also significantly increased case as compared BW. quality ranking found be accordance ISO standard (III: II: SLW). On other hand, increase metal contents (mg/kg) plant such As (0.21–0.40), Cd (0.04–0.09), Cr (0.16–0.41), Cu (7.31–14. 75), Fe (142.38–303.15), Pb (0.18–0.31), Mn (15.26–22.81), Hg (0.18–0.25), Ni (0.74–1.18), Se (0.13–0.22), Zn (3.44–4.59), levels did not exceed FAO/WHO safe limits. Bioaccumulation factor (BAF), dietary intake modeling (DIM<0.006496), health assessment (HRI<0.028571), target hazard quotient (THQ<1) analyses no potential associated consumption irrigated SLW. Therefore, study provide valuable insights into optimization sources for cultivation.

The agriculture industry in the Western world is increasingly using biofertilizers, considering environmental aspects and organic food. Sustainability primary priority of government Sultanate Oman. In order to improve develop agricultural sector for community development, Oman paying special attention its Vision 2040 line with sustainable development goals. Hence, aim research analyze behavioral farmers farmholders towards utilizing biofertilizers saving environment as well providing food bringing sustainability country. meet objectives study mixed method has been used. An interview guide developed, a questionnaire also instruments have approved by experts. data were analyzed, afterward, collected. To test hypothesis framework, Smart PLS 3 findings identified that are reluctant use because lack awareness, but yet they it up some extent proposed model proven be significant. useful not only policymakers practitioners who can obtain guidance about benefits gain from biofertilizers.

Ornamental containerized transplant production needs high doses of controlled release fertilizers (CFR), but it is known that there an environmental risk caused by inadequate fertilization management. To the best our knowledge, amino acid-(AaB) and seaweed extract-(SeB) based biostimulant application, in ornamental production, still poorly studied. Therefore, aim this work was to assess hypothesis that, under reduced nutrient supply, SeB AaB applications, via foliar spray, can promote quality sustainability high-quality seedlings with a 90-day growing cycle. The CRF incorporated into peat-growing medium Osmocote Exact Mini formulation N:P:K = 15 + 9 11 (3 months). Six treatments were compared two economically important potted (0.3 L volume) ornamentals: Abelia × grandiflora Lantana camara: T1 conventional full dose: 4 gL−1 per pot; T2 limited 50% T1; T3 MC-Extra® [SeB 0.5 gL−1]; T4 1.0 T5 Megafol® [AaB 1.5 mL L−1]; T6 2.5 L−1]. research results showed application plus resulted plant performance greater than or equal those raised dose. In particular, S1 (Abelia ‘Edward Goucher’) S2 (Lantana camara ‘Little Lucky’) behaved differently concerning dose CRF; T1, A. young transplants, increased root morphological characteristics, as well number leaves, leaf area, dry biomass accumulation; L. camara, achieved higher performance. biostimulants also improved, both physiological agronomical Nitrogen Use Efficiency, This study support decision-making terms agronomic technique choices line sustainable development production.

Securing a consistent food supply remains pressing global challenge, particularly for small-scale farmers grappling with obstacles in enhancing agricultural yields, especially tropical soils. Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) techniques, employing organic manures like vermicompost and bio-enriched rock phosphate, emerge as recommended solutions. Vermicompost is lauded its nutrient richness positive soil health impacts. At the same time, phosphate serves sustainable alternative to conventional phosphorus fertilisers, specifically tailored conditions. Despite individual studies assessing effects of vermicompost, soluble fertilisers on plant growth, comprehensive overview their combined application noticeably lacking. To fill this gap, study employs Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Review Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) method explore synergies combining these elements impacts crop production environment. This review among first comprehensively summarize complexities chemical various crops. It thoroughly examines potential advantages, disadvantages, systems, socio-economic implications, existing policies governing usage. Our findings reveal that leads significant improvements yield, properties. The optimal impact observed when constitutes 25% fertiliser comprises 75 or 100% dosage. Moreover, incorporating mixture phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) strains further enhances effects. findings, we identified gaps approaches addressing socio-cultural dimensions lack literature prevailing regarding use systems highlighting need more holistic understanding incorporation better grasp institutional frameworks guiding practices. However, secure production, integrate biofertilisers fertilisers. In fostering adoption inclusive practices small rural properties, it advisable incorporate education into farmer training programs.
