Abstract Radiocesium is frequently present in radioactive wastewater, while its removal still a challenge due to small hydrated radius, high diffusion coefficient, and similar chemical behavior other alkali metal elements with background concentrations. This review summarized analyzed the recent advances of Cs + from aqueous solutions, particular focus on adsorption membrane separation methods.
