Recently, water-stable ZIF MOFs, a new material class with very large surface area, have attracted attention for the removal of organic pollutants. This type MOF's excellent adsorption capacities, pore volumes, and recyclability performances stand out compared to many other adsorbents. In this work, ZIF-67 structure, cobalt-containing ZIF, was synthesized using ultrasound-assisted solvothermal method, its phenol performance investigated. The characterization structure carried by SEM-EDS, XRD, FTIR, nitrogen analyses. Nitrogen data showed that had microporosity, area calculated from BET model 1656 m2/g. To synthesize ZIF-67, optimization adsorption, one important pollutants in water, investigated response method (RSM) initial concentration, adsorbent pH, temperature variables. At operating levels determined RSM, most effective 92.2% obtained at 30°C, 1 g/L 20 mg/L pH 6.5. isotherm onto fit Langmuir model, which is monolayer interaction. The ecological balance of natural water reservoirs has been disrupted by pollutants generated from agricultural, industrial, and human activities, resulting in significant impacts on safety environmental security. Metal-organic framework (MOF) composites have emerged as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional adsorbents.
