Cotton is a vital fiber crop for the global textile industry, but rising temperatures due to climate change threaten its growth, quality and yields. Heat stress disrupts key physiological biochemical processes, affecting carbohydrate metabolism, hormone signaling, calcium gene regulation expression. This review article explores cotton's defense mechanism against heat stress, including epigenetic regulations transgenic approaches, with focus on genome editing tools. With the accelerated urbanization and economic development in Northwest China, efficiency of urban wastewater treatment importance water quality management have become increasingly significant. This work aims to explore carbon reduction mechanisms China alleviate resource pressure. By utilizing online monitoring data from pilot systems, it conducts an in-depth analysis impacts different processes on parameters. pays particular attention their impact key indicators such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), NH4+-N, Total Phosphorus (TP), Nitrogen (TN), application predictive models. The first establishes a Random Forest Regression (RFR) model. RFR algorithm integrates Bagging ensemble learning random subspace theory construct multiple decision trees aggregate predictions, thereby enhancing model's prediction accuracy stability. Using bootstrap sampling, model generates training subsets original randomly selects variables regression trees. Its performance predicting various is then evaluated. results show that exhibits excellent performance, achieving high levels stability for all indicators. For example, R2 COD 0.99954, while values TP, TN predictions reach 0.99989. In the context of ever-increasing water demand and pressures on natural resources, efficient management is becoming a major priority for contemporary society. Since nitrogen phosphorus, as essential nutrients, play crucial role in dynamics aquatic ecosystems, but excessive concentrations can cause eutrophication receptors, they need to be eliminated completely possible while respecting principles sustainable economy, efficiency, quality. this study, efficiency optimizing technological process wastewater treatment by dosing FeCl3 40% solution reduce phosphorus treated was investigated. The results obtained revealed that use type flocculant resulted an increase removal total N average 35.57 mg/L P 3.89 mg/L.
