Pure and boron modified Ag3PO4 powders with different contents (0–5 wt.%) were prepared. XRD, ATR-FTIR, XPS, SEM-EDX, UV-Vis DRS PL analyses conducted for the characterization of prepared powders. Characterization studies indicated reduction in band gap energy, presence no change morphology due to modification. The results photocatalytic experiments showed that modification increased activity Ag3PO4. UV light dye degradation efficiency from 63% 84% methyl orange (MO) 41% 65% red by 3% reaction rate constant MO a factor 1.7. Under visible light, was similarly enhanced 31% 58% 2.3 under low intensity light.
