Renewable
natural
gas
derived
from
biogas
presents
a
viable
pathway
for
decarbonizing
systems.
Wastewater
treatment
plants
equipped
with
anaerobic
digesters
often
flare
or
utilize
heat
and
electricity
generation,
missing
the
potential
of
renewable
gas.
This
study
investigates
techno-economic
feasibility
emission
impact
system
at
small
wastewater
plant
in
Southwestern
United
States.
Due
to
lack
existing
data
on
composition
contaminants
originating
within
States,
samples
were
tested
seasonally
year,
components
are
reported
this
analysis.
Using
hourly
production
data,
analysis
incorporates
costs
fuel
credits

market
prices
cost

contaminants.

show
15-year
net
present
value

A
laboratory-scale
fixed-bed
column
is
employed
to
study
the
dynamic
behavior
of
carbon
molecular
sieve
MSC
CT-350
for
CO2/CH4
separation.
Breakthrough
adsorption
tests
in
single-component
systems
are
carried
out
at
different
pressures
(1,
3,
5,
6.5
and
8
bar)
constant
temperature
(20
°C).

with
a
40%
CO2/60%
CH4
binary
mixture
