Child maltreatment is a significant problem in Germany. Hospital data on child serve as crucial foundation for planning effective prevention measures. These enable an assessment of the extent to which at-risk children and adolescents are identified, supported, protected. To describe changes in the volume and types of emergency medical services (EMS) calls for children during COVID-19 pandemic after availability vaccine ("reopening period").
