The
textile
industry
is
known
for
its
considerable
environmental
challenge,
due
to
water
pollution
caused
by
dye
discharge.
This
study
addresses
this
problem
exploring
the
use
of
biochar-modified
bentonite
adsorption
methyl
orange
from
a
solution.
examines
influence
various
factors
on
process,
such
as
pH,
amount
modified
bentonite,
concentration
solution
and
contact
duration.
results
reveal
that
reaches
equilibrium
after
240
minutes,
with
maximum
capacity
119.33
mg/g.
To
model
predict
several
artificial
intelligence
models
were
applied.
Among
these,
Random
Forest
Regressor
stood
out
best
performer,
coefficient
determination
(R2)
0.9893,
mean
absolute
error
(MAE)
2.3048
root
square
(RMSE)
2.7215.
