Digital transformation plays a significant role in modernizing and improving the efficiency of ports around world. However, digitalization also brings set challenges that must face. They have to respond several unique because complexity their operations varying demands stakeholders. This study seeks identify summarize digital processes ports. For this purpose, World Ports Sustainability Program database was used. The findings revealed 74 initiatives carried out by ports, which makes it possible recognize 7 dimensions 32 sub-dimensions process. Among identified are port infrastructure, interconnection between various systems, organization model, regulation, security privacy, market evolution, establishment partnerships implement these projects. results relevant mitigate risks process needs demand greater transparency visibility operations.

This theoretical study focused on addressing and explaining the problem of container congestion overcrowding in Port Sudan, main port which necessitates finding solutions to this that has negatively affected movement exports imports. Ports play a crucial role in facilitating global trade and logistics, serving as vital hubs that connect countries continents. However, they are susceptible to disruptions disasters due their natural characteristics, while resilience is essential for maintaining regular operations, especially the face of disruptions. From perspective inputs outputs, this study evaluates nine major Chinese ports from 2011 2021, using super-efficiency slacks-based measure network data envelopment analysis (SBM-NDEA). This approach extends beyond evaluating port's internal capacities, incorporating urban economic factors critical ensuring long-term resilience. The novel method assessing port its positive ramifications offers clearer understanding specific stages requiring improvement, thereby enhancing overall ports. Specifically, three considered: absorptive, adaptive, restorative. results reveal different exhibits distinct trends above stages. Shenzhen Port demonstrates superior performance both absorptive adaptive stages, Rizhao excels restorative stage. research contributes advancing academic knowledge industry practices by offering new insights, methodologies, practical implications
