The paper discusses an integrated methodology to implement interactive augmented reality 3D modelling environment with natural interaction, empowered by real-time gesture recognition. is developed from a geometry-sculpting algorithm based on the use of subdivision surfaces approach combine ease and versatility even complex shapes, while maintaining high geometric continuity smoothness. interaction deformable elements geometry’s control cage be divided uses optimised version Grasp Active Feature/Object Feature hand tracking recognition zero-invasive stereo-infrared techniques. Modelling, combined environment, allows modification geometries having real objects as reference and, in any case, general spatial awareness during activities. was implemented tested using advanced mixed-reality headset, Varjo XR-4, hi-resolution pass-through second-generation Ultraleap for accurate precise tracking.
