In recent years, zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are being investigated for their photocatalytic application in remediation of dye contaminated water. The utilization bio-waste and natural resources (plant parts such as fruit, leaves, flowers etc.) materials the synthesis ZnO NPs leads to advancement compared conventional physical chemical methods order produce inexpensive, eco-friendly long-term stabilized NPs. mediated approach eliminates possibility hazardous by-products well complexity reaction steps. this perspective, review emphasizes strategies stabilization using extracts various plant based materials. role phytochemicals from different bio-wastes mechanism discussed here synthesis. Nanotechnology is revolutionizing in every field of life from remediation to its applications agriculture. The immense characteristics the nanostructures includes smaller size, increased surface area, ion exchange ability and catalytic activity which allows their application various fields including detection cleanup water pollutants, soil nutrient balance, reduction harvest loss protection crops Moving towards green methods for nanomaterial (NMs) synthesis a sustainable approach considering safer use NMs over physical chemical methods. Bio-based nanomaterials are synthesized any biological source microbes (bacteria, algae, fungi) plants. We concentrate mainly on plant based cellulose, chitin/chitosan lignin development functional biodegradable NMs. used target environmental problems like accumulation heavy metals dyes bodies focus remediation. This review article aims describe importance bio-based NMs, roles focusing majorly treatment oil spill cleanup. also discuss about agriculture, control release nutrients, as nanofertilizers, Nanopesticides Nanoherbicides. beneficiary accounts using environment remediation, safety aspects challenges associated with successful implementation.
