In
the
present
work,
a
simple
and
effective
hydrothermal
method
has
been
used
to
synthesize
nanocomposite
of
nickel
oxide
molybdenum
disulphide.
Structural
optical
characterizations
as-synthesised
MoS
2
/NiO
nanoparticles
were
carried
out
using
X-ray
diffraction
(XRD)
UV-visible
spectroscopy
techniques.
The
major
peaks
NiO
detected
in
XRD,
confirming
formation
composite.
reduced
band
gap
2.84
eV
MoS2/NiO
nanocomposite,
as
compared
pure
with
3.1
bandgap,
indicates
blue
shift.
surface
morphology
was
measured
field-emission
scanning
electron
microscopy,
showing
sheet-like
structure
fine
particles
overlaid
on
them.
Cyclic
voltammetry
electrochemical
impedance
(EIS)
determine
processes
charge
transfer
between
electrodes,
diffusion
molecules
ions
within
electrolyte
solution,
ion
adsorption
electrode.
as-prepared
composite
shows
an
enhanced
specific
capacitance

scan
rate
which
more
than
both
base
materials
pristine
form.
EIS
results
thus
obtained
may
give
new
direction
for
supercapacitor
applications
as-synthesized
sample.
