A simple voltammetric procedure for direct determination of nitrites in natural water samples is described. Measurements are carried out an inert medium 0.1 M KCl. The based on the oxidation N(III) to N(V) as a result change electrode potential from +0.40 V +0.96 V. use combined consisting approximately 800 gold microelectrodes enables undisturbed determinations be performed presence high concentrations organic compounds at level 20 mg l −1 . calibration plot NO 2 − was linear range × 10 −6 8 −4 with detection limit 6 −7 M. proposed successfully applied nitrate three passable results.

In the present work, a simple and effective hydrothermal method has been used to synthesize nanocomposite of nickel oxide molybdenum disulphide. Structural optical characterizations as-synthesised MoS 2 /NiO nanoparticles were carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD) UV-visible spectroscopy techniques. The major peaks NiO detected in XRD, confirming formation composite. reduced band gap 2.84 eV MoS2/NiO nanocomposite, as compared pure with 3.1 bandgap, indicates blue shift. surface morphology was measured field-emission scanning electron microscopy, showing sheet-like structure fine particles overlaid on them. Cyclic voltammetry electrochemical impedance (EIS) determine processes charge transfer between electrodes, diffusion molecules ions within electrolyte solution, ion adsorption electrode. as-prepared composite shows an enhanced specific capacitance 246 F g−1 at20 mV sec−1, scan rate which more than both base materials pristine form. EIS results thus obtained may give new direction for supercapacitor applications as-synthesized sample.
