harvesting.

Citizen
science
is
rising
and
expanding
as
an
approach
to
data
collection,
enabling
the
acquisition
of
through
voluntary
involvement
citizens
in
scientific
activities.
This
study
explores
effectiveness
citizen
collecting
biodiversity
urban
green
infrastructure,
focusing
on
a
case
at
Calouste
Gulbenkian
Foundation
Lisbon,
which
includes
both
roofs
traditional
garden
areas.
Data
collected
via
iNaturalist
platform
structured
unstructured
activities
were
analyzed
compare
patterns
observation.
Results
show
that
attract
more
participants
but
produce
fewer
observations
per
person,
mainly
familiar
taxa,
such
birds.
In
contrast,
events
concede
higher
number
observer,
including
less
commonly
recorded
taxa
like
insects,
provide
greater
coverage
roofs,
since
routes
are
predefined.
Seasonal
temporal
trends
also
noted,
with
concentration
spring
summer
significant
increase
weekends,
indicating
influence
participants’
availability.
Spatial
combining
gardens
provides
continuous
rich
ecosystems
crucial
for
city
planners.
