Patient-reported dry eye symptoms (DESs), assessed using the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) and Symptom Assessment iN Dry Eye (SANDE) questionnaires, were compared in a large sample of patients.The correlation (Spearman coefficient) agreement (Bland-Altman analysis) between OSDI SANDE questionnaire scores (with without score normalization) 1033 patients classified according to as non-DES DES cross-sectional analysis.The normalized non-normalized results higher than all samples (2.83 ± 12.40 (p = 0.063) 2.85 15.95 0.016), respectively) > < 0.001) with both cutoff values. To investigate the validation of phenol red thread (PRT) test in a Chinese population by evaluating intraobserver repeatability and interobserver reproducibility, determining correlations between PRT other dry eye disease (DED) parameters including tear meniscus height (TMH) Schirmer I test, testing accuracy diagnosing DED when using alone.A total 108 eyes were involved this prospective diagnostic study, divided into two groups (with without DED). Background: Dry eye disease (DED) is characterized by the loss of ocular surface homeostasis with specific signs and symptoms. The present study aims to changes in tear meniscus height (TMH), lipid layer pattern (LLP), bulbar hyperemia over time untreated DED participants. Methods: This retrospective longitudinal included 73 participants (146 eyes) diagnosed since at least 2013. Participants underwent new examinations between 2021 2023, grouped 8-, 6-, or 4-year follow-up periods. TMH, LLP, were assessed both examinations.
