Given
the
rising
interest
in
ethical
fashion
consumption
among
consumers
this
study
posits
reasons
behind
getting
involved
such
behavior.
Using
self-concept
theory,
investigates
influence
of
internalized
moral
identity,
symbolized
green
self-concept,
product
perceived
self-enhancement
and
self-identity
to
explain
consumers'
intention
buy
vegan
leather.
In
addition,
moderating
role
social
stigma
was
also
analyzed.
Standardized
scales
were
used
collect
data
from
348
participants
India.
Data
analyzed
using
AMOS-based
structural
equation
modeling
technique.
The
results
indicate
that
shape
an
individual
consumer.
Further,
only
identity
(both
symbolized)
influences
self-enhancement.
This
contributes
literature
on
buying
behavior
individual's
values
point
view
may
be
applied
by
practitioners
comprehend
global
market.
