Due to cannabidiol’s health benefits and absence of serious side effects, its use is constantly growing. This a survey-based cross-sectional study that was conducted determine Croatian pharmacists’, physicians’, students’ knowledge attitudes about cannabidiol (CBD). Two questionnaires were created, one for students the other physicians pharmacists. Our participants (in total 874: 473 401 pharmacists) generally had positive towards CBD therapy as approximately 60% them believe treatment efficacious. Participants toward therapeutic value CBD, especially pharmacists pharmacy (63.8% 72.2%, respectively). Pharmacists significantly more convinced could reduce opioids prescribed chronic pain (p < 0.05). Only 17.5% read scientific papers compared higher percentage (43.0% 47.8%, respectively) revealed gap in regarding since 89.3% physicians, well 84.8% students, they need education CBD. We conclude it important improve educational curricula so medical professionals can recommend their patients when needed.

Traumatic experiences result in the development of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) 10-25% exposed individuals. While human clinical studies suggest that susceptibility is potentially linked to endocannabinoid (eCB) signaling, neurobiological PTSD factors are poorly understood. Employing a rat model contextual conditioned fear, we characterized distinct resilient and susceptible subpopulations based on lasting generalized core symptom PTSD. In these groups, assessed i.) eCB levels by mass spectrometry ii.) expression variations system- iii.) neuroplasticity-related genes real-time quantitative PCR circuitry relevant trauma-induced changes. Furthermore, employing unsupervised semi-supervised machine learning statistical analytical models, iv.) gene patterns with most robust predictive power regarding susceptibility. According our findings, model, fear responses occurred sufficient variability characterize subpopulations. Resilient subjects showed elevated prelimbic lower ventral hippocampal 2-arachidonoyl-glycerol (2-AG) compared non-shocked control subjects. Ventral 2-AG content positively correlated strength generalization. was associated prefrontal, amygdalar neuronal hypoactivity, marked decrease transcription modulating neuroplasticity an altered pattern eCB-related genes, including enzymes involved metabolism. Veterans use cannabis as a chronic pain treatment due to combination of the easing restrictions and dissatisfaction with care standards. The segregation medical from conventional health systems may translate opportunities disadvantages that are not well defined. Our study aimed characterize how approach using for symptom management, including product access, developing plan, its integration into daily life.
