In the current perspective and review article, we address human body as a living ecosystem with collecting watersheds draining hydrosheds; integrate our discoveries over past quarter of century pose critical open research questions to be addressed going forward, aim improve cell, tissue, organ organismal health. First, flow fluid through tissues musculoskeletal system, after which describe interactions fluid, at multiple lengths time scales, molecular macroscopic non-fluid tissue components, discussing bone in context “living” chromatography and/or electrophoresis columns. Thereafter, discuss implications functional barrier integrity, effects cytokines on active function transport between systems, compartments, within tissues. addition, its multi-physics thereof for inhabitants tissues, i.e., cells. Finally, solid components cellular health, where organs comprise organism form interacting ecosystems throughout life health disease. By taking convergent approaches understanding musculoskeletal, environmental (which themselves are interdependent), hope pave new paths innovation discovery, lives worlds’ inhabitants, from worlds joints bodies Earth unknown beyond understanding.
